You know today is the anniversary of the Pensylvania massacre of the Amish school children.
I heard that the Amish families while grieving for their own children reached out to the shooter's family. They invited them to attend their funerals, they attended the shooter's funeral and they gave the shooters wife a substantial amount of money that was donated to them from around the world.
It took me a while to regain my composure. |

| I agree it's amazing...their fundamental belief in peace and grace transcends their rage. I can't imagine going through what they have. |
I remember hearing that they donated money to the shooter's family.
Really a very nice thing to do. I don't know if I could if it were me as the victims.
As a society member I agree that they (shooter's family) were innocent victims in this too, but I am only hoping I would be able to do the same thing if I were in that same position. |
