I just checked the oes.org front page and the visitors counter is from March 20th 2000 so, unless that was started later - its not a 10 year anniversary!
I haven't had dinner yet and its 10.20pm here and I'm starving! A cup cake would go down nicely!!  |

The previous ones were obvious -- There weren't 10 cupcakes, only 5.
There weren't 10 puppies, only nine... but not sure it was nine!

We had some pics and some info and sold merchandise for New England Old English Sheepdog Rescue, inc.

i think its kind of nostalgic...like when you move out of a house and you do your last walk thru....even though youre happy to go on to something that you bought and love, you look back at the old thing and remember the good that happened there...

It's walking down Memory Lane, the links to the start up are great To think how wonderfull the ten years has been for you ron, watching your baby grow and grow to what it is today.  A site and forum enjoyed by heaps of people from all over the place and support from many marvelous people who all come together for a common denominator, the breed we all love.

ditto. i've gone back to my first posts when i'm bored, and i can't believe some of the dumb things i asked.
i also agree on the friends thing. i normally don't take internet folks seriously but i really would trust many of you w/o even meeting ya to take care of my lo's. In fact, our will has an attachment note that they're not allowed to get rid of any of our animals before coming HERE first to ask if someone will take 1,2 or all 4 of them  |

Where do I even start? This place started out as a way for me to figure out how to take care of a breed that I had never owned before. It has grown into so much more than that.
Friends?? Friends, you say??!! wow...I am in complete amazement and awe at all of the fantastic people that this community has. oes.org has been my path to sanity...and psycosis....what my mental state would have been in the last year, i dont know...i dont go there...
I just know that when i log on in the morning and check throughout the day, that my friends from all over the world, are here with me at one point or another.

| Glad we have this thread. I always forget or don't see the picture at the top right corner. I have my page bookmarked on the "posts since you last visited" so I get to the new threads asap. |
I have only been a member since the fall, but already feel like I have a huge group of new friends. I just moved to this small, military town a year ago, and it has been very difficult to make friends. Even though I haven't met any of you face to face, it is an absolutely massive comfort to know that even though I don't know many people in my town, I know people here. The freedom to ask honest questions and get honest answers (I dont know why this is so rare in our society, but it seems to be), I can vent, I can ask questions that may seem silly but always get just the right answer, I can gloat about Tucker and just chat with others. It has been a Godsend on some very lonely days.
Ron - none of this would be possible without you. We all appreciate you and the work you have done more than we can express. A simple "thank you" does not seem to suffice. You have built not just a website, but a community of people who, as diverse as we may be, all have at least one common passion that binds us together all across this vast world. Do not think you are not appreciated, becuase you really and truly are.
With regards to the top corner - I'm still confused as to how the pictures and numbers relate to the anniversary of the website! But I will keep looking and try to figure it out. The one that is up there now, of the matted little thing, breaks my heart enough to cry and I could only bring myself to really look at it one time...I look forward to the next one. |

You should get keyrings, bowls, car stickers - the lot made up, he's so sweet! I'ld like a car sticker and keyring with the oes.org replaced with my dogs name, that would be great personalised and cute! |
