Pink Pooch

Several months ago I noticed that my OES (Sampson) has some dicoloration in the hair on the top of his head. In areas it is pinkish brown. The discoloration starts at the root so it appears to be growing that way rather than being stained by something. It was suggested that it could be an allergy but he has eaten the same food for years and his treats have been pretty standard too. There doesn't appear to be any irritation (scratching etc.)

I was going to say was it from licking as my oes has stains pinky brown on her pads but I think that is saliva. Perhaps someone else can help. xxx

If the hair is growing in that way it could be a yeast infection.
