The light on the Old Hancock Building in Boston Flashes Blue

What does it mean when the light on the Old Hancock Building in Boston flashes blue? It means it is going to be cloudy.

The light on the building is lit up with different colors red or blue and either flashing or steady to give the residents of Boston a weather forecast.

A little poem is used to help you remember:

Quote:
Steady blue, clear view.
Flashing blue, clouds due.
Steady red, rain ahead.
Flashing red, snow instead.
Except in the summer, when flashing red means the Red Sox game has been cancelled.

Ok, it seems that the author of the poem had a sense of humor when it comes to the rhythm of the last line.
That is very cool they do that.
yeah and it's a good indication as to how you should dress too!
That is cool! I've never heard of that... neat.
