What does it mean when a knitting pattern says end with WS or RS?

Sometimes a pattern will be verbose with "End with WS completed, RS ready to begin".

Sometimes it will say "End with WS".

They both mean just about the same thing; work the wrong side row and stop. You will start the next part of the pattern working on the right side (the right side will be facing you as you work).
Are you knitting something for winter with "sheepie wool".
Like an oes.org sweater???????????????? Very Happy
Sometimes it will also say end with RS. For example, the next row (WS) might be the bind off row. It is important to pay attention so that you have the correct number of rows! Smile
WS (wrong side)
RS (right side)
