The police put out an APB?

What does it mean when the police "put out an APB?"
It's an All Points Bulletin meaning that all units should be aware of the information.
Ususally used in missing or wanted person cases of high importance or danger level.
The next step down is a BOLO or Be On the LookOut. Kind of like saying keep your eyes open for such and such.
I hate to point this out Ron, but it means that someone witnessed the
"incident" and now they may be looking for you. This means you
may want to check into a wig and/or growing facial hair to throw them
off your track. Kiss
