| What does it mean when you dream about calling a former colleague?
I had the strangest little dream last night. I drempt that I called the main switchboard for a large company I used to work for, and asked to speak with the manager of a project. They asked me for the name, and I said "xxxxx yyyyyy". They said "One moment"
The phone rings once and he answers. The connection is filled with static.
"Hello"
"Hi xxxxx, this is Ron."
"I'm sorry, I can't understand you, we're on the internet"
"I said 'Hi, this is Ron.'"
"Huh? I don't understand.. what time is it?"
"Where are you?"
"In Italy. what time is it?"
"I'm so sorry! I just asked for you and they put me through. Go back to sleep"
"W-a - uuh what time is it"

Strange!! Maybe he thought you were a wake up call.
I also guess whatever you had to say to him wasn't very important. | | Maybe I needed to get up? | | Could be? | | Do you secretly want your old job back or move to Italy? | Hmmm a paycheck would be nice... maybe a trip to Italy might be interesting, but other than that, not really.
I worked an average of 63 hours per week for the last year I was with that company. That includes calling any sick time or vacation time 8 hour days. Not to mention my 2 1/2 hours of commuting time per day. | Maybe you were actually mentally connected to him, and he really WAS in Italy????
I dream about Rome quite frequently, but that is mostly because I travelled there once, and I want to go back. Plus I think my brain has turned it into a symbol for something... probably a place I want to be in, or maybe beauty, or power. |
